Club Rules & Membership
Current membership costs are an initial special offer of £250 per year with a joining fee of £50. Please contact David on 07740 150 000 or email contact us us if you would like to join.
A full list of club rules are contained in the club handbook however a brief synopsis follows below;
River Derwent & River Ashop
- Strictly catch and release.
- Please observe access & parking arrangements detailed in club handbook
- Gates must be closed behind you.
- Artificial fly only
- You must sign in for the day at the fishery office.
Howden & Derwent
- Strictly catch and release.
- Please observe access & parking arrangements detailed in club handbook
- Gates must be closed behind you.
- Artificial fly only
- You must sign in for the day at the fishery office.
- No Wading
General
- Each member may take up to 4 accompanied guests per season (Reservoirs). Full details in club handbook.
- No commercial activity to take place on any waters such as guiding or coaching without express permission of the club management.
- All litter & waste to be removed even if it is not yours (where practical!)
- No dogs on the river
- No cooking, fires anywhere
- All waters strictly catch & release
- Please use all necessary safety equipment such as life jackets & wading sticks when wading.
- Be courteous and helpful to other anglers and especially to members of the public and ramblers.
- Strictly fly fishing only
- All members most hold a valid rod licence
